Phew!

So, today I did a very scary thing. I got up in front of a room full of people to talk about my costume design for the show I designed last semester. I thought I was going to vomit I was so nervous. So, the background to this story is that I'm in St. George at the KCACTF conference(that's the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for those in the know) and I'm here to present my work in the the Design/ Tech competition. The person who wins first place in each category gets to go to Washington D.C. and present there. I've been working on the physical part of the presentation for weeks and stressing about the verbal part of this thing for days but I was so nervous. If you know me at all you know that I'd much rather sing in front of 500 people than talk in front of 25 people. But all in all I think I did OK, hopefully I didn't make a fool of myself that's really all I care about. But I'm done the scary part is over. So now I can breathe.

Congrats on doing it though...I am the same way about talking in front of people so I totally understand.

Love you and good luck!

So happy for you that you were able to achieve this goal. I know how hard you have been working on this presentation. As you know you were in our prayers and will continue to be in our prayers that the end result will be good for you. Appreciate that you have kept us posted.
