What I've been up to

Thursday night was the photo call for Issun Boshi, the show I've been designing. I thought I would post a few pictures that I took so that the family and friends that I've barely spoken to for a month can see what I've been up to. Some of the costumes you see here were rented some of them were things that we built. The pink princess costume and the orange and blue costume on the guy on stillts were hand painted. I'm very pleased with how everything turned out.

The production was a fun, fun, fun play. The costumes were spectacular particularly the two outfits that were handpainted. For those of you who didn't get to be there, the orange piece on the actor on stilts was handpainted (green trees) as was the light blue piece that has an intricate design on the bottom that is not visible in the picture. Brandee did the work on the pink silk princess outfit herself - great job BJ. The gigantic puppets were
amazing. Too bad not everyone could come.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your experiences as a costume designer - You did a fabulous job.
